Prayer of Praise

by | Oct 27, 2020

O, God, we don’t know what to do, but our eyes are on you because you are worthy to be trusted.
You’re worthy to be feared.
You’re worthy to be relied on.
You’re worthy of all our anxieties to be cast upon you.
And that’s because you are God, and we are not.
You are wonderful, and we are not.
You are unchanging, and we are not.
You are united and too often God, we are not.
O, Lord, we adore you because you are God from everlasting to everlasting.
We adore you because from eternity past you enjoyed fellowship with your Son and your Spirit.
And yet Father, for our sake, you turned and forsook your Son.
You sent him to reconcile us to you and each other. And so we adore you.
O God, nothing is too hard for you. Making us one is impossible for everyone but you. And we praise you in Jesus’ name, amen.
